Like many of our patients who come to our office, you may have been told by another orthodontist or even a dentist that you are not a candidate for Invisalign. You probably left feeling disappointed that this discreet treatment option wasn’t an option for you. Then, you came to Harnick Orthodontics. And guess what, I said you ARE a candidate for Invisalign. How can this be?
Well let’s talk first about Invisalign. Invisalign is a revolutionary orthodontic treatment option created by Align Technology. Invisalign uses a series of customized clear aligners to shift teeth into their desired positions. In its early stages, Invisalign could only treat some very minor orthodontic issues such as mild crowding or spacing. Over the past decade, Align Technology has continued to improve its aligner technology to create a viable treatment option that treats a multitude of more severe orthodontic issues. Now, Invisalign works for almost all orthodontic issues from mild to severe! This brings us to the next point…Not all Invisalign providers are created equal.
While Invisalign’s technology is fascinating, it DOES still take an Invisalign expert to be able to tackle the more difficult orthodontic cases. To become a “certified” Invisalign specialist doesn’t really take that much effort. Several hours of coursework and you’re certified to offer it as a treatment option. Only with experience and continued education does Invisalign truly reach its potential with complex patient cases.
Currently, Harnick Orthodontics is in the Top 1% of all Invisalign providers in the WORLD! We have treated more cases and more severe conditions than 99% of Invisalign providers. I am very comfortable recommending Invisalign for many severe conditions. Unfortunately, there are some conditions that still require braces and I can not give you a choice.
If you’re interested in Invisalign, the best thing to do is come see me for a free and honest opinion. I will do a thorough examination of your smile and bite to see if you are indeed a candidate for Invisalign. To request a complimentary consultation online, click here.
"Dear Patients,
I am writing to share an important update about our practice. After much thought and consideration, I have made the very difficult decision to consolidate our two locations into one main office at Montgomery Pkwy. This was not a decision I made lightly, as I know how important convenience and continuity are for our patients and families.
Please know that my patients remain my top priority, and I want to ensure that no one feels left without support during this transition. To help with this, I worked out an arrangement with the new owner of the Golf Course Rd. office that will allow me to continue seeing patients there for a period of time after the transition.
Appointments at the Golf Course office will be limited.
Preference will be given to patients who began treatment at the Golf Course location.
Over time, most patients will transition fully to our Montgomery Pkwy office.
This arrangement was made with you in mind—to provide continuity of care and make the transition as smooth as possible.
I want to thank you for trusting us with your orthodontic care. I am committed to seeing you through your treatment and look forward to continuing your journey at our Montgomery Pkwy location.
If you have any questions about scheduling or the transition, please do not hesitate to reach out to our office.
With gratitude,
Kari Harnick Graeber DDS, MS
