Find a New Orthodontist

Moving to a new city or looking for a better fit for orthodontic care can feel stressful, but getting started at Harnick Orthodontics is simple. If you are new to Albuquerque and need a trusted orthodontist, we can begin with a complete evaluation of your bite, tooth alignment, and smile goals. This helps us understand your needs and recommend the most appropriate treatment options, whether that means braces, clear aligners, or continued monitoring. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable and confident with your orthodontic plan from your very first visit!

Continue Braces or Invisalign

If you started orthodontic treatment somewhere else, you don’t necessarily have to make trips back to your previous orthodontist. We regularly help patients transfer braces or Invisalign treatment after a move or provider change. During your visit, we will review your treatment history, current progress, and remaining steps needed to reach your smile goals. We can also coordinate with your previous orthodontist when needed to make the transition smooth. Our focus is keeping your treatment progress on track so you can finish your orthodontic care comfortably and efficiently.

TMJ and Bite Concerns

Jaw discomfort, clicking sounds when opening or closing your mouth, headaches, or a bite that feels uneven may sometimes be linked to alignment or jaw function issues. We provide evaluations for patients experiencing symptoms associated with temporomandibular joint concerns, often called TMJ problems. During your consultation, we can examine how your teeth come together and how your jaw moves to determine whether orthodontic treatment may help improve comfort and function. Treatment recommendations may include orthodontic correction, bite adjustment planning, or coordination with other dental providers if needed.

"Dear Patients,

I am writing to share an important update about our practice. After much thought and consideration, I have made the very difficult decision to consolidate our two locations into one main office at Montgomery Pkwy. This was not a decision I made lightly, as I know how important convenience and continuity are for our patients and families.

Please know that my patients remain my top priority, and I want to ensure that no one feels left without support during this transition. To help with this, I worked out an arrangement with the new owner of the Golf Course Rd. office that will allow me to continue seeing patients there for a period of time after the transition.

Appointments at the Golf Course office will be limited.

Preference will be given to patients who began treatment at the Golf Course location.

Over time, most patients will transition fully to our Montgomery Pkwy office.

This arrangement was made with you in mind—to provide continuity of care and make the transition as smooth as possible.

I want to thank you for trusting us with your orthodontic care. I am committed to seeing you through your treatment and look forward to continuing your journey at our Montgomery Pkwy location.

If you have any questions about scheduling or the transition, please do not hesitate to reach out to our office.

With gratitude,
Kari Harnick Graeber DDS, MS
